Studio Chizu Announces “MIRAI” Watch Party On November 20th to Celebrate Mirai’s North American Anniversary

Studio Chizu presents a Press Play Twitter Watch Party in celebration of the 2nd Anniversary release of Mamoru Hosoda’s film, Mirai in conjunction with North American distributor GKIDS and Anime NYC.

Los Angeles, California – November 10, 2020  – Studio Chizu is proud to announce, from Academy Award-nominated director Mamoru Hosoda (Summer Wars, Wolf Children), in partnership with North American distributor GKIDS, and anime convention Anime NYC, a Press Play Twitter Watch Party in celebration of Mirai’s Anniversary Film release. 

Fans are invited to join the celebratory Watch Party with their physical and digital copies of Mirai on November 20th, 2020 at 5:00pm PST.

Join the Happy Hour an hour early at 4:00pm PST to join Academy Award nominee Yuichiro Saito (@StudioChizu), Studio Chizu co-founder and producer of Mirai, as he interacts with the fans answering some questions plus share some special moments.

The happy hour will begin one hour prior to the Press Play, which will give fans the opportunity to engage with Yuichiro Saito (Producer and Co-Founder of Studio Chizu.)

When four-year-old Kun meets his new baby sister, his world is turned upside down. Named Mirai (meaning “future”), the baby quickly wins the hearts of Kun’s entire family.
