“Studio Chizu Music Journey Vol. 1 – Cinematic Orchestra 2022” will be released on July 26, 2023! This will feature the August 2022 live performance of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra performing music from Mamoru Hosoda’s films.
The tickets for the 5,000-seat concert were sold out immediately, and in response to the passionate requests of many fans who were unable to attend the one-night-only concert, it has been decided that the concert will be released in CD and digital format on July 26, 2023!

A total of 30 pieces were performed at the concert led by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra’s Hirofumi Kurita. The perfomance also includes appearences by Masakatsu Takagi (composer for “Wolf Children” and “The Boy and the Beast”) on piano, the vocals of Hanako Oku (theme song for “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time”), and Ann Sally (theme song for “Wolf Children”).
